I do what is mine to do; the rest does not disturb me.

You only have control over one thing – yourself.
You control your thoughts, your attitude, and your actions, and this is exactly where your focus should be.
Do the best that you can where these things are involved and don’t be disturbed by the actions, attitudes, or behaviour of others.

Too many people want to take ownership for the acts of others, but each person is ultimately responsible for his own actions.

Do your best to be the best person that you can be and let the chips fall where they may. Once you have done your duty to the best of your ability, don’t be upset if the outcome does not come out exactly as you had hoped.

Simply know in your heart that you did the best that you could, given the circumstances. You acted in the moment to the best of your ability and made the best decisions that you could.

What more is there?

If one does what one has to do, and does it to the best of one capability, he has fulfilled his duty. Moment by moment, day by day, this is all that any man can do.

Being upset or stressed out about things over which you have no control is a waste of time.

Only think about such things when you can do something to change the situation. If the situation cannot be changed, what good does it do to ponder it?

Be rational and concentrate on what you can do – then do it.
