Intelligence...

Why would I get frustrated by people who I think I am smarter than?
Wouldn't an expression of that intelligence be having figured that one out?
Is intelligence measured by expression alone?
How do we calculate intelligence that is unseen?
Perhaps the brains are in the question...
At some point, I was told that I am autistic and had trouble communicating with people; I tend to appear ignorant and aloof when around people especially with those who think highly of themselves.
Is my experiment a way of appearing superior to them?
Changing the game when I feel it doesn't fit my way of understanding...
Intelligence couldn't actually move where only interactions of alphabets are gathering combinations of moves in a game of Solitaire.
Intelligence didn't seem to have much relevance here. It was so abstract and multifaceted that any attempt at determination or measurement seemed ridiculous.
Plus where was the individual intelligence?
Maybe it helped to get to the food quicker.
Creating efficiency seems to be the role of intelligence, ' efficiency' where being ' efficient ' means we have more time to be even more ' efficient' now that's where the real smarts come in handy..

Go where you're relevant. Leave where you're not.

Hang out with folks you resonate with. That's part of it, for me. Resonance gives me a clue sometimes. But sometimes nothing is resonating at the moment but something tells me to stay put - that it's still relevant for me to stay. It's a body-centric kind of knowing.

The main thing for me is, when it's clear I'm not relevant, I need to leave. On a more serious note, though, some of us 'fit in' less than others.

This is always a challenge for me if I think it means there's something 'wrong' with me. It just means I'm me, uniquely me.
That you don't often feel yourself truly resonating with others could simply mean that you are profoundly sensitive to energy and vibration and notice as soon as something is off. This is a wonderful and challenging capability.
Treasure it, even as it sometimes seems like a torment.

Only you know when to leave and when to stay and it sometimes has nothing to do with whether you're feeling seen or heard or understood.

Be your own source of love, trust, freedom and understanding, and you'll be able to continue to give and serve in love no matter the opposition or condemnation.
Everything can be experienced in a positive manner.

But sometimes discomfort is not a trustworthy marker for whether to stay or go or whether to open up or shut down.

Sometimes the best time to stay and open up is when you are most uncomfortable.
T
he term "highly sensitive person" has become much more familiar to me, as of late...! Sensitivity can indeed be a gift!

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling...

You have to make up your mind to be happy no matter what is going on around you.
This can be a most formidable task at times, but it can be accomplished with persistence and thought control.
It takes persistent practice at controlling your thoughts in order to be happy in spite of the negativity that is so prevailing in our world.
You have to control your thoughts or your thoughts will start to bombard you with worry and plague your mind with fear of the future.
Don't allow this to happen.
Keep your thoughts focused on the here and now.
In addition, learn to say
"screw it."
That's right, just say screw it.
Most of the things that rob people of their happiness are not that important. When these minor irritations come to mind, just say,
"Screw it. It is not a big deal," and move on.
I can guarantee you that in the overall scheme of things, it truly is not a big deal. It is just life. Don't let it bother you.
Make it your main goal in life to be happy, no matter what is going on in your life.
Think about it.
Will being unhappy change things for the better?
Will it help solve your problems?
Of course not.
Being unhappy serves no purpose except to prevent you from enjoying your life, which is way too short not to enjoy.
As the popular song from the 80's stated, Don't worry; be happy!

"Don't take life seriously, it's not like you are going to get out of it alive"
This is, world wide common sense...

There is a voice that doesn't use words...LISTEN!

Our world is so busy and hectic that we hardly ever have any personal quiet time anymore. There always seems to be people around, telephones ringing or texts coming in, music blasting, or televisions and computers distracting us.
With all of this going on, it is hard to find time to just be quiet and listen to that small quiet voice inside us.
That voice is very important. It is this voice that gives us direction and insight into things that we can't perceive will our physical senses.
This voice is your intuition and you have to practice listening to it in order to be able to hear it and use it when you need it.
Your intuition will never let you down, but you must be quiet enough to hear it and listen to it. And it takes practice.
Start making it a daily practice to find some quiet moments where you are alone with your thoughts, and you will find that your intuition will start to guide you.
But this is a small quiet voice; it does not yell over other things. It is up to you to get quiet and listen.

When you do, you will find it invaluable.

Perceive that which cannot be seen by the eye. The more you learn to listen to your intuition, the more that you will be able to do things which are not overtly obvious to you. An aware, sharp mind and a developed intuition are the two most important factors in good self-defense, but are the two that are most often overlooked.

So many people wander around half asleep, in a semi-hypnotic state. Others walk around with their head down, staring at their newest text.
This is a dangerous way to walk the streets.

Stay focused and sharp.
Learn to listen to your intuition.

This means that you can't be walking around distracted all the time. Be alert and aware of your surroundings.
Watch what is going on and think about what you are seeing. Discipline yourself to perceive that which cannot be seen by the eye, as well as to keep your eyes opened to what is happening in your environment.

Your perception, the way you see things, doesn't change the truth.

Let's take this photo for example.

When most people first look at this, they almost always assume that the guy in the bed is cheating and her husband's is walking in on them.

Why do most people assume this?

Well, we assume that because the woman and the man walking in are both Asian, that they are a couple. Also since there are two pairs of bamboo sandals on the floor and an kanji poster on the wall, we assume that this is an Asian household. Furthermore, the man walking into the house is wearing a gi under his coat and there are martial arts weapons displayed on the wall. We put all of this together and assume that the guy in the bed is about to get a rude awakening.

But, all of those assumptions could be wrong. Maybe the couple in the bed are actually THE couple, and the man walking in is having an affair with the woman.
Or maybe these guys are gay and one of them is cheating with the woman. Maybe this is a married couple and the guy is having an affair with the other guy who expects him to be home alone.
Or they could all be roommates.
There are many possibilities.

Our minds like to organize what we see and hear in a way that makes sense to us, given our background knowledge.
But we have to make sure that we know the facts and don't act on assumptions. What seems to make sense and to be obvious is not always true.
Make sure you know the real story before you jump to conclusions.

If you don't, you may just end up making a fool out of yourself.

PS
People are so easy to judge, they never give their thoughts a second opinion.

Don't take life seriously, it's not like you are going to get out of it alive....

/ \ Time
Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spent it. Once you lost it, you can never get it back. Harvey Mackay
Time is free, but it is the most valuable thing that you have. It seems to be human nature that we don't value something as much as we should when it is free. When we pay a lot of money for something, we tend to take care of it and try to get the most use from it that we can.

But when something is free, it just doesn't seem to have the same value.
This is just another one of the ways that time is deceptive. Although it is free, time is irreplaceable and invaluable.

And, although it seems as though we have as much time as we need, that is also a deception. Time goes by faster than anyone ever suspects.

And sooner than you expect, your time is gone.
Make the most of the time that you have been given on this earth. Live your life to the fullest. Don't waste time with negative people or on petty arguments. Both are meaningless.

Spend your time wisely and fill your days with as much adventure, love, and happiness as you can.
Truly live your life.

I refuse to allow the behaviour of others to destroy my inner peace. NOT MY CIRCUS - NOT MY MONKEYS!

(•_•)

There will always be those who have nothing productive in their lives, so they get their kicks by verbally attacking other people or spreading lies through gossip. This has gotten much worse since the invention of the internet. Now these people of low character, can go on line and write whatever lies and gossip they want, without anyone ever knowing who they are. This is the acts of cowards, not men and women of character.
Do you respect the word of a coward?

Do you put a lot of stock in what cowards or those who gossip say? I suspect not.
Then why would you allow the actions of these types of people to destroy your inner peace?

If you don't know them personally, if you don't respect their character, if you know that they are liars who maliciously spread gossip which is untrue, why would you care what they say about anything?

This world is full of fools; don't let them get to you.

Not everyone's opinions matter.

People who gossip and lie have been around since the beginning of time, and people like this will continue to gossip and lie, probably until the end of time.
eople with honour and integrity are in the minority, especially in today's world, but, they are the only one's whose opinions truly matter.

When you get verbally attacked by these people who Confucius referred to as "inferior men," just consider the source and move on.

Say to yourself with a smile -
"Not my circus - not my monkeys."

You are not responsible for these clowns, or for what comes out of their mouths. Refuse to allow them to destroy your inner peace.
