Discipline

It is the beginning of everything you want in Life and the road to happiness. Develop it, practice it; from both your heart and your mind.
Ask why. Develop the why. Once the why is strong enough, the how will naturally present itself.
If you can't build the why strong, it's just not that important to you; the negative consequences do not yet create enough suffering for you to choose change, and you are unable to believe clearly enough the positive benefits of making the change.

It's all about the - what and the why.

The WHY is EVERYTHING, difficult to see when clouded by emotion which is why meditation and patience is crucial, it clears the path, settles the ego.
Discipline can be self-control to influence an outcome; it can also be to release all control of the situation, and choose your response.
T
his is Responsibility; the ability to respond consciously, not just react impulsively based on an old pattern or belief system.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lie our growth and our freedom. – Viktor Emil Frank
Discipline practiced with joy will create the fastest avenue for success there is. We often think of discipline with negative connotations but its definition really meant to practice a habit that roots out unnecessary and self defeating behavior, but it’s the joy that creates the success....!!!

ust like - when you do good, you feel good, and when you do bad, you feel bad.  This shows awareness and allows you to make a new choice.
If you felt bad, you were probably trying to please someone else, and did not get the expected external response. Because if you do something that you know is good for you, it feels good. It is that simple.
You can misuse the power of your mind, but not diminish its power.
