A little less assurance that you know it all, and a little
more willingness to continue the search, to acknowledge that there may be
something you do not know - could change everything. The call to humility is a
call to glory.
Life itself is a learning process, does not mean they know everything;
at least we can learn every day more and accept it with humility.
And if we don't keep ourselves humble, nature does it for us.
Is humility sitting back and letting the SHTF without saying
anything or voicing an opinion?
The older I get the less I am assured that I know much of
anything for certain and therefore have to make a point. Letting it go is such
a relief - it just doesn't matter - what matters is to listen to my heart and
intuition and 'do my own thing'.
There times in my life when I feel as if I know nothing at
all...these are the moments...my senses clear and the astounding beauty,
infinite possibilities...of this lovely life envelope me.
This is always true. There is a proverb in Tamil which is
what is taught to everyone when they reach their teen exactly 13th year the meaning
of that is "what we know is just a handful of sand but what we do not know
is the sand in the whole ocean and beach".
Even biologically and scientifically our knowledge is always
limited as very well explained in many of his discourses by J.Krishnamurthy,
the great philosopher.
I would like to share her a quote which I quotes in one of
my old articles on the necessity and inevitability of NRMs [New Religious
Movements] Inquisitiveness is the eternal spring of human psyche and it is
through this stream that flows from the spring that traces of ignorance are
washed away one by one as Phenella writes in “The Unwritten Comedy”.
“To be ignorant of many things is expected
To know you are ignorant of many things is the beginning of
wisdom.
To know a category of things of which you are ignorant is
the beginning of learning.
To know the details of that category of things of which you
are ignorant is to no longer be ignorant.”
Yes we know everything, only more willingness to searching,
we release we know but the finality here, need to search, if not the game of
this life is finish.
Could we changing everything?
There things mankind can intellectually comprehend and understand
and things we cannot.
For the things we can comprehend and understand which is
almost nothing of everything there is proof, fact, science.
For the things we cannot comprehend and understand, which is
most of everything there is belief, faith, God.
It is important and needed for us to evolve, that both the
folks of science and faith; know and accept which, and which is which.
As the artist shares the secreted desires of the soul...
“Whenever the poetry of myth is interpreted as biography,
history, or science, it is killed. The living images become only remote facts
of a distant time or place. Furthermore, it is never difficult to demonstrate
that as science and history, mythology is absurd.” ~ Joseph Campbell
