"Faith, acts promptly and boldly on the occasion, on slender evidence." It's comforting to choose a path that seems well-lit and predictable. But, once in a while, we seem to know with inexplicable confidence that it's time to take a risk. Moving in faith takes a joyful heart and willingness to surrender perfectionism. Those leaps, both big and small, bring us to a new level of living, thinking and loving.

Love it forward
We are all tired.
Really, we are.
It’s a hard road, but it’s also a beautiful one.
Perhaps
we expect too much from ourselves and from others.
Perhaps
humanity can only make slow progress, like an inchworm.
Perhaps
we need to celebrate how far we have come.
And
rest more.
And
relish the simple pleasures.
And
look for love everywhere.
There is a river near where I live.
It meanders slowly, peacefully.
It doesn’t ask itself why it isn’t an ocean,
or a raging river,
or some other thing.
It just surrenders to what it is.
Maybe we just need to surrender more to who we are.
And
take a rest.
And
sweet surrender.

PS;
I like to observe that evolution has this lovely little tendency to take quantum leaps now and again as a means of meeting calamitous crisis head on.
Now that we're a part of Life here both facing and causing the crisis,
Life is sure to take a step forward by shrugging us aside, or by utilizing itself in and as us to propel another quantum step into greater complexity and consciousness.
