This is Responsibility; the ability to respond consciously,
not just react impulsively based on an old pattern or belief system.
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that
space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and
our freedom. – Viktor Emil Frankl
Discipline practiced with joy will create the fastest avenue
for success there is. We often think of discipline with negative connotations
but its definition really meant to practice a habit that roots out unnecessary
and self defeating behaviour, but it’s the joy that creates the success....!!!
Ask why.
Develop the why.
Once the why is strong enough, the
how will naturally present itself.
If you can't build the why strong, it's just not that
important to you; the negative consequences do not yet create enough suffering
for you to choose change, and you are unable to believe clearly enough the
positive benefits of making the change.
It's all about the what and the why.
Sometime you believe that you are doing well, but when you
feel bad, then you realise that you are in a wrong way......!!!
This shows awareness and allows you to make a new choice. If
you felt bad, you were probably trying to please someone else, and did not get
the expected external response. Because if you do something that you know is
good for you, it feels good. It is that simple.
