Are you as free as your Mind, Body, Heart or Soul and Spirit?

Freedom is subjective, so one may feel the they are free but actually have chains on and not aware due to accepting the status quo.

Through working on my inner thoughts and continued growth in my spiritual beliefs I have become free....starts with the mind....my heart had to follow because I was seeking the truth.... Each day is a lesson that is preparing my soul....
Sometimes one's freedom is bounded by external factors as cultural and traditional norms. In order to transcend this challenge one should begin by DECIDING to liberate one's self from such status quo. Many have done it before and more are doing it right Now as we speak.

The responsibility of Freedom includes allowing others to be free to make their own choices even when we disagree with seemingly valid reasons.
Disagreeing without judgement is to act responsibly with freedom. Even if it means sometime being assertive, and with seemingly valid reasons.
I think that's an important one. I can only present my view and no matter how valid I find e.g. vegetarianism or faith or else I have to allow the freedom of choice to others!

Every passion and dream unfolded with Love is already in the manifesting of its be-coming. Everything handled with anything LESS is already bounded and limited by our own fears and doubts. Be Love.

I love one old saying I heard from Les Brown, "When life knocks you down, lie on your back because if you can look up... you can get up"... So whatever the emotional season, keep your mind on where you are going... If you can see it, you can conceptualise it ... This signs shall follow those who believe... Mark 16:17... Be a believer and keep going.

I try to focus on the many blessings given to me from God. From the smallest ones to the largest ones. I then begin to give Him thanks for caring about me and loving me. Happiness washes over me and I feel uplifted.

Feeling bad creates a feeling of guilt, therefore puts a wall of limitation... and on and on it goes... to get RID of this, before you go to bed, go over your day and say "what would I have done differently today?", then see what it was that you would have changed. In a few weeks, it will dwindle to very little... if nothing... training your mind/subconscious to "create" your day. What’s there to feel guilty about if you have NOTHING that you would change in your day?

"There are no facts, only interpretations."

In a disagreement, one can say there are no facts are to say there are no absolutes. To say there are only interpretations’ is to say everything is subjective. However to say everything is subjective is in itself an absolute and if there is one we must admit to the possibility of others.

I always reserve the right to change my mind & I don't always believe what I hear and only half of what I see. Facts... One person’s facts are another’s fiction.

Well, from the aspects of Buddhism, Zen, Taoism, and etc- everything is relative. Via this view, I agree nothing is absolute, which itself can be an oxymoron since then Nothingness becomes the absolute! ;)

From other perspectives, it can be argued that everything is relative VIA a common denominator of an absolute aka Truth/ God/ Divinity/ Oneness/ etc

The conjunction of opposites... Everything is relative and absolute simultaneously and then some. Opposites is not the same as within a spectrum

The yin and yang symbol in which the seed of the other is found within

Every one interpret as he/she thinks, minds are variable first, second process of thinking is going on, new experience new yard sticks of thinking, new parameters of thinking ,will bring his own interpretations new facts will appear this process will continue till expiry.

The Truth is a living phenomenon... To be alive, it must remain Dynamic, and of course, "evolve"!

The inexplicable cannot be explained via any single mode of expression- philosophy, science, metaphysics, religion, etc. It may reveal itself via all or none given the unfolding depends on the individual's depth of evolution.

"Do we evolve to the truth?"

This is something we'd have to find out THROUGH our evolutions.

There often a tendency, via childhood conditioning, for us to view everything via a standard pivot of something we believe to be THE STANDARD FACT of THE TRUTH. When we begin to genuinely question this too, everything changes...

"Facts are there & have to be there."

The question then is who has the privilege to have it? If it's with someone claiming to have it, then isn't it subject to individual interpretation as well?

Show a colour blind person red they will see it as green... To them green are what they see and that is their reality ... It is like that with all things... Reality is what we make of it. Everything is an opinion...By saying everything is an opinion make that statement a fact.

It's interesting how our own opinions are facts to ourselves at any given moment!

I believe that certain truths are open to interpretation but not facts... Truths are relative to a person’s belief/cultural system - but irrefutable facts such as our necessity to breathe air to survive are not...

What knowledge is known, has been past down, changed slightly each time, so what can we call truth, we all think differently so it is all interpretations of truth, opinions and facts.

The circle never ends; it just by passes in a spiral not a complete circle that closes. So true Rail. New Age is just a name put on a science for a classification; there are so many sciences at work as we type, so many brainwaves.

As We Evolve Individually Or As A Whole, So Does The Knowledge For The Unknown. How We Perceive Such Understandings Will Determine The Fate Of Either Our Own Success Or Our Detrimental Downfall!

A fact is only defined when written. But definitions come from insecure people looking for absolutes, usually that the media contrives for the so called ''good'' of mankind.
Now Let Me Point Out That Arrogance And Ignorance Are Two Different Outlooks Upon Life, Not A Way Of Realizing One's Own State Of Mind Or Reference Point!

Personal Growth Comes From Within, Only Then Are We Able To Fully Know How To Apply Wisdom Into Knowledge, Therefore Realizing We're More Mentally Yearning For Ways To Hone Our Skills In Ways We Never Thought We'd Achieve, This Is Why We Need Each Other, To Learn From Each Other Rather Than Take Advantage Of Those Broken Worse Than How We Are So Far!

We apply knowledge to create wisdom not the other way around.

Getting at the fact that a human perception of a "fact" is always determined by the limitation of that human's interpretation no matter how valid it seems in knowable circumstances. There is always room for a "fact" to fail in some application as there could be some unfathomable exception to the limits of said "fact".
The fact that I called that a fact is also my interpretation although I cannot fathom any way for there to be an exception to the rule that there can always potentially be some exception to any perception of factuality.

Basically any perception of certainty however objective is impossible to prove in infinite cases.

The way I interpret this quote is that everything is relevant to the individual and their own perception. Scientific data and studies aside, intuitions and convictions are a personal matter. Things such as faith, spirituality, and life philosophies, how could facts be labelled on them? We develop our own philosophies and beliefs, and there is no textbook definition for them, we form them ourselves as we proceed on with life and inherit wisdom...

Lesson in mistakes.????

Get over your guilt about what you've done in the past. Just get over it. Get over it. All of us have made mistakes - and for some of us they have been some pretty big whoppers - but that has nothing to do with your worthiness to see God, and to be loved by God.

It is useless to carry the burden of the past mistakes, although we learn a lot with them.

Mistakes were just opportunities to learn, if you can see a mistake, take the learning and move on, put the past in the past where it belongs, and take the learning into today, oh yeah and remember, humans forget, sometimes we have to learn again.

The knowledge gained from the "mistakes" I've made is not there to torment me with guilt and shame, but to serve as a reminder of what I have chosen before, so that I may choose better this time.

Someone who is so dear told me a long time ago that no one makes "mistakes"... what happens is that we take a "mis-step"... we are on a path and that sometimes we step off the path because of the choices we make... that does not make us a "good" person or a "bad" person... it is an opportunity to learn another lesson about ourselves & about life... then it is up to each of us to step back onto the path and keep going forward

God's love is the only thing constant in life. I agree we should get over our mistakes and most of all their consequences--cos there's yet to come. Loll. Besides, mistakes keep us entertained. But I do think guilt-- like all things--have a place in life. It's a hint that in our very core, we are still good... and is in fact having a piece of God crammed in us. But like all things--too much of anything is unhealthy. Mistakes--like Haters--make us strive to be better and yes, for heaven... the only sensible thing we aspire. HaH! Let's enjoy life whether we like it or not!

Sacrifice and Joy????

So often people feel bad for finding joy in something that could be considered a sin. It brings about this fear of living and the sacrifice then becomes too great.

Sacrifice is not a virtue. Joy is not a sin. Since sacrifice does not mean 'The rejection of the worthless', it will always remain as a virtue. Joy is never a sin unless it exceeds certain limits and become unethical.

"sacrifice contains a desire to give but it leaves out one very important element; ourselves. Since sacrifice happens through a role where we are not really present, it gives but it cannot receive. Valuing ourselves changes sacrifice and 'almost love' into being truly love."

Sacrifice is relative, unselfish people usually sacrifice one way or another; giving time for instance and listening to others often is a sacrifice usually selfish people never sacrifice anything, the mere mention of the word makes them quiver. Nothing wrong in sacrifice which also requires discipline that doesn't hurt either. Has nothing to do with religion.

Sacrifice and joy need will, virtue and sin are parts of the personality. Personality does not consist of will.

There are a lot of people here that buy into the lives of their culture. Live outside the rules of those who lived in fear.

Perfection..

Do not confuse excellence with perfection. The first is possible to achieve, the second is probably not, but is a direction to aim for.

Perfection lies in the eye of the beholder and unfortunately we have two. Perfection is admirable though inconceivable, because perfection is not an achievement. It is a fact.

Every diamond is flawed, but every diamond is perfect, because the flaw is part of what a diamond is. A diamond with a flaw exists perfectly as a diamond is meant to exist.

Perfection is the state of all things even when they appear imperfect. Our minds have trouble accepting this idea because we do not see the greater picture. Excellence is simply a way of measuring human achievement.

My motto, "if you have come here for perfection there is the door, if you have come for excellence, have a seat".
What is perfection after all? Just a concept set by our mind.
Excellence is one's own idea of best thing and perfection is an imposed one.

Voices

To me there are 3 voices in you, the voice of your heart, the voice of your mind and the voice of your soul.

These 3 voices are also - all the time - speaking to you, about everything! Which voice you listen to will determine which voice you speak with. Sometimes it's really funny to follow the conversations between my mind and my heart... so the voice of my soul is determined who is speaking.

Many do not know how to listen to their soul's voice. It takes training yourself to tap into body knowing, grounding, by training first to shut/silence the mind.

MY suggestion is to learn to break the cycle of the constant chatter of the “little mind” that you find time in each hour to become aware of the wonder of your physical body. Isn’t it marvellous how your fingers can move to hold & raise your coffee cup to your mouth! And, oh how splendid is the feel of the water & soap on your hands as you wash them! If you do this regularly, then you will find you’re able to let the “little mind’s” data pass on by & you can live more from your Heart

The Soul speaks from a place of Joy, Grace and Peace it does not speak anger, judgment or resentment. When we speak from our soul it feels good within it is the most peaceful feeling there is to just be kind love and joy to not feel anger hate or fear anymore.

Lifestyle Sustainability is about hearing your inner authentic self and knowing that the answers lie there. Here you will find the only information you ever need to take action on... Freedom is contained there, in the choices we make from the heart.
Your heart knows what you need before your mind does.

Your ego will trick you always ... and sometimes can convince you it's your heart's voice when it's not ... just when you think you can tear it apart the ego has shifted again and once more you are lost ... awareness is everything

The mind thinks of everything you can lose. The heart thinks of everything you can give, and the soul thinks of everything you are. I will leave it up to you to decide which of those three is the most important…

When they say "are you out of your mind?" I simply say "Why yes" at the time it seemed good...

My favourite quote:
Don't believe everything you think, it's a dangerous neighbourhood to be in.

Sometimes the mind gets in the way often when we are trying to calm our soul and just LISTEN.
I don’t know, but at times I feel that we must LET GO of the mind, that is when we go into the field of pure potential.

I have commenced my self-initiated program of sitting quietly until the mind shuts up and I can hear what I really know and feel! I have missed "me"...

The mind and the soul must work together if you are to experience true bliss. Try not to spend too much time exclusively in your mind. It is a magnificent tool, but it has a limited perspective.

Soul is the truth of you, communicates in feeling, your grandest feelings, and always loves.
Minds are thoughts processes, often masquerading as feelings, and rely on past data leading to reactions. Soul is in the NOW and causes one to create.
The soul has the knowledge and perspective of ALL and the mind is set for limited data and can focus on one thing only.
When seeking to Commune with the soul, do whatever you need to do to find a place of peace within, and let yourself be inspired.

Mind is always fixated on the daily drama of life, that its purpose.

Mind and soul are merely a metaphor for the masculine and feminine principles in us, one of the many symbols we host.

The masculine habit of over-analysing everything leads to nothing without the soul's deep knowledge, so the only way out of this dead end is COOPERATION in harmony.
Once we get "tired of our own thoughts" and we realize that mind alone will never lead us to full happiness, we're ready to make room for the soul to be heard.

The soul has infinite time and patience; we humans only have limited time.

No favour do I seek today

Friday, 2 December 2011 at 20:51
I come NOT to ask, to plead, or implore

I just come to tell how much I love You

For to kneel in Your presence make me feel blessed

For I know that You know all my needs best

And it fills me with joy

As my soul replenish and my heart renew

For prayers is much more than just asking for things

It’s the peace and contentment that quietness bring

So thank you again for Your mercy and love

And for making me heir to Your kingdom above.

But all cannot understand that the highest prayer or communion with God is a life of love.

FRIENDSHIP is the answer....is it NOT?????

It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship and respect that makes unhappy marriages.... Isn't that the truth?
To most they forget of ‘why’ they got married in the first place. This is something I so believe!!
That to me is why so many marriages fail. Without friendship the relationship has no "glue" to hold it together!

You were friends before you took that ‘big step’, so, why did it have to stop? The very first mistake most did/does was not continued friendship and take things for granted.

Compliments to me is very important, be it about my cooking, what I have on or the work I’ve done. NEVER STOP giving compliments. I like being appreciated, so we do the same to our husband.
We need to keep the spirit lifted in order to keep moving on, listen to each other’s and hear what they really say in between their words. When you listen with your intuition you will hear the truth. OR better still tell him how you felt, I always do....

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you wants to do....TOGETHER!

Follow your heart, but be quiet and still for a while, if you don’t know what to do. Ask questions, and then feel the answer. Learn to trust your heart.
When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.
Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle. Be like a child. Walk in love, not fear as you often heard people say.

Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safer, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary. I am NO ordinary.

Uncertainty and mystery are energies of life. Don't let them scare you unduly, for they keep boredom at bay and spark creativity. Be like those of light, that’s the ray of happiness, are colourless when unbroken.
If you want to meet someone who can fix any situation you don't like, who can bring you happiness in spite of what others say or believe, look in a mirror, then say this magic word: "Hello"

Honesty.... Better to fail with honour than succeed by fraud, I despise dishonesty more than anything; only cowards and truly selfish people hide from and don’t share the truth. I say own it in truth!! Be true to yourself...

The moment you think about giving up, think of the reason why you held on so long. You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however.

(^__^)

Israel...the Black sheep of the world!!!

These thoughts have been spooling round and round in my head... As Gaddafi systematically massacres his people and the country descends into civil war, as armies slaughter civilians in Yemen and Bahrain, now Syria...

I ask why good people have focused only on Palestine/Israel for more than half a century and not attended to the brutality and oppression endemic in other countries...

Saudi Arabia went to war with Yemen & invaded tow city in Yemen & took them by force, Greece & Turkey fighting over cypress ...& Spain invaded tow cities in Morocco and took them by force!!!!!!

So is it OK for dictators to do what they wish within their own borders to crush democratic demands?
I think not, and strongly. No flotillas for their victims?

One fact that is kept tightly sealed and buried is this: More Muslims are killed by their brethren in religious and power struggles than are killed by foreign powers and that, as far as I can ascertain is true even after the war on Iraq.

It could be that some of the relentless focus on Israel does indeed rise out of blaming the black sheep is easier ... It is also a useful displacement activity very so why focus only on Israel when ever any disaster happens in the world !!!!

Just I pray and I ask God to give me strength to understand, you're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it.

Reality, that all countries has its own skeletons in the closet we are here to build friendship away from politics and hidden agendas and Masonic org- crap and all this hatred ..We are here to make a change not to talk over the past that created enough wars and conflicts and racism and negativity...we need new horizon...that’s the truth

I struggle with this. Struggle between recognizing that these people for some reason need to have this experience, and at the same time struggle with the in authenticity and lack of integrity that is present when they claim to be Muslim and in the next breath vomit out hate that is clearly the antithesis of what Quran taught.

Church/ Mosque have nothing to do with God; religion is a man made institution to control the masses & profit from them. Your body is your temple, not Churches, Mosque or whatever you call it. God did not create religion, or ordain the Churches, all man-made.

It’s plain that religions have masked us from ourselves through conditioning. We create our own destiny & reap the consequences of our actions. Religion is for people who are afraid of Hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there.

"Tears are the lubricants of change"

A good cry can be wonderful sometimes, and sadness is nothing more than love announced. Sadness and Unhappiness is not the same thing, and it is good to remember that. And there is this: sadness cleanses the heart.

Sadness had a particular purity about it when it's coming from your heart. And yes, once expressed, healing can take place. I always thought that tears a concentrated emotion as the angels are holding you...

You have to feel safe enough to accept & to go through the feelings of sadness! Then, with enough positive emotional support, the sadness may not immobilize you as depression!
So, now that she's gone unexpectedly, you can allow yourself to feel the grief-life being a contradiction, sadness born from having to let go of something beautiful, in every moment there is surrender.

A good cry is cathartic to the body and soul. When I feel boxed in by a frustrating problem, my usual M.O. is to first cry it out and then move on. I find that my insights are sharper, and I can relax about the issue and actually focus clearly on a resolution. This should be shared with everyone; especially those who bottle up their feelings.

Listen to YOUR heart and no one else. I’m so sorry for your loss. Take all the time you need. Celebrate her life, yes; but honour your feelings, too. All emotions are cleansing if we see them as such. WE must distinguish between feeling our emotions and BEING our emotions. Feeling is healthy!

I have been known to seek out the "Kleenex" movie to serve as catalyst to that wonderful good cry. Apparently we have a lot of love to announce. What’s not normal is never feeling sadness or elation.

Emotional tears are constituted differently than regular tears, containing a lot of hormones. I believe that crying helps release pent up chemicals when we are overwhelmed either by positive or negative emotion.

We need to feel our sadness to feel the other good feelings - from my own journey I have learned the tears are our own personal healers.

(TO YOU my dear friend AHD)
