If the whole world wants to go left and you feel like going right, go right. You don’t have to follow. You don’t have to make a big deal about which way you’re going. Just go. It’s very easy.... It is YOU that matters!
A small trouble is like a pebble. Hold it too close to your eye, and it puts everything out of focus. Hold it at proper viewing distance, and it can be examined and classified. Throw it at your feet, and it can be seen in its true setting, just one tinier bump on the pathway to eternity...this is so true.
I am a Muslim; Quran is my guide – THE GREAT READING! I believe the Quran contains the whole truth. This doesn't mean I do. I am merely the student. I am an active reader, and will continue to do so, and if by reading other spirituals books make me less Muslim to you so be it. There are many ways to truth.
“By reading other books, it helps me see the Quran better, kind of like stimulus to higher thought.”
“Yes some said Quran is enough, but it doesn’t tell me to stop reading other texts. It's a complete system in itself and all other bits of information must be fit in accordingly.”
“Merely having the text or claiming to believe in it isn’t having the truth. The truth is a journey, a posture. When you adopt that posture, you evolve. All paths have some measure of truth.
Separating untruths from the truth is a lifelong jihad - many people read the Quran and never accept it, just because they have truth in front of them doesn't automatically make everything better...”
“We are all born with fitrah Allah; the rest is up to us to stay on that, and to humble ourselves to God alone. “
“What kind of God ordains crucifixion for treason?”The punishment for those who wage war against Allah and His Prophet and make mischief in the land, is to kill them, crucify them, or cut off a hand and foot on opposite sides." (Qur'an 5:33)...
“The meaning is that those aspects of your selfhood that wage war against your innate (Prophetic) nature -- when the selfhood is at war with itself -- these aspects will perish...”
My brother told me that – “‘arrogance’ is a characteristic influence by "me first", a self-cantered sort of mentality. Some are arrogant because they have a distorted image of reality which they believe is the absolute truth and they are not willing to accept any sort of reasoning against it because of their inability to come to terms with their weakness/faults.
People of humble nature become more humble and People arrogant by nature become more arrogant in their speech and manners after reading Quran. They are mostly those who believe that simply reading or reciting Quranic verses (without the need to understand it and reflect it in their conduct) is enough to qualify them to be included among the ranks of the righteous and hence this illusion of being ‘the righteous’ further enhance their already arrogant nature.”
And I think this is true.
Some people spend their entire lives reading but never get beyond reading the words on the page, they don't understand that the words are merely stepping stones placed across a fast-flowing river, and the reason they're there is so that we can reach the farther shore, it's the other side that matters.
Whatever you do take one more step out of your comfort zone.
I am NOT worry when I’m not recognized, but strive to be worthy of recognition. And don't let recognition be our motivator! Do our best always, either way! But one recognition I needed none. I stay committed in my decisions, but am staying flexible in my approach." I believe when we improve ourselves we can also serve as an inspiration to help others improve also...
You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. If we look at the world with a love of life, the world will reveal its beauty to us. As human beings, our greatness lays not so much in being able to remake the world -- that is the myth of the atomic age -- as in being able to remake ourselves.
One person cannot change the world, but one person can spread the message and let many know. Let's come together and create the change. We cannot fight for peace; we can only set our differences aside. Come together and unite, spread the love. We need to stand up for ourselves but not to fight, because divided we fall, but together we stand.
O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do. (5:105)
