I can't wait to stand still but when....??????

Thought is lightning fast. It rushes to conclusions. It quickly tells all kinds of stories.

But as the consciousness prior to thought, you are cosmically slow. You are more ancient than the sun. You have seen it all. You take your sweet time.

You are like the seasons. Spring does not speed towards summer. Autumn arrives when it arrives. Winter is not trying to win.

The grass grows at its own pace. The earth spins calmly on its axis. Life does not rush - it is not trying to get anywhere. It simply celebrates itself as this moment.

Our mental conclusions can wait. Our stories can be put on hold. All that remains is an invitation to deeply savour this precious moment.

Everything has it's appointed hour.

Life is a moment-by-moment adventure to be lived, not a story to be completed or an image to be upheld. Conclusions are not your job. In this moment, answers are not required.

We are constantly invited, in a million different ways,
to stay very close to what is actually happening,
to stay intimate with life as it plays out in real-time,
to remain answer free yet experience-near,
to no longer spin experience-distant stories about what may or may not happen, come to premature conclusions or give memorized answers.

Yes, the one who seeks answers has been given an extended career break. The one who thinks they need to know can rest deeply now.

The mind has been sacked as the CEO of Life.
What a relief.

We can. Are we willing to?

Instead of seeking certainty, can we fearlessly meet our doubt?
Instead of seeking security, can we embrace present moment insecurity, and see the aliveness in it?

Instead of trying to resolve our lives perfectly, can we come to rest here and now - the place where everything is perfectly unresolved?

Instead of trying to find the answers, can we recognize ourselves as the wide open space of consciousness in which all questions, all doubts, all movements of mind and feeling are deeply allowed to arise and dissolve?
Can we remember that we are neither the questioner nor the one with the answers, neither the seeker nor the sought, but the resting place for all of life?

Instead of striving to hold up the story of 'me', or even striving to get rid of that story, can we simply rest as this sacred space where the story has not yet coagulated?

Can we gently notice the story of 'me' arise and dissolve with such tenderness?

Can we stop pretending to know, and rest in wonder and never-ending mystery?

Watch it arise and dissolve... in wonder... trusting... innocently

Can we do anything but?

Loving the not knowing, the unresolved, the undone, as it comes into being and rests before dropping back into the pool of formless anticipation and potential.

Aaah what a life!

New Year Resolutions.....!???

( •_•)
\) (>
/ \ My friends asked me what’s my 2014 resolutions......hmmm I told them I have none for I don’t like ultimatums, those resolutions with the due dates and deadlines phfff.
I’ll just focus on how I feel and want to feel each day. Be in the now where all of our growth and healing takes place.
Just for today, I just be Spirit-filled person I want to be. And see how it feels.
One day at a time.

Every day brings with it a gift for you.

The key is to notice, and then accept and fully appreciate the gift before it is lost to you.
There are the obvious gifts, like the beautiful breakfast I shared with the people I love most in the world all gathered in one place, and the not so obvious ones, like the cold shower I unexpectedly had this morning before breakfast when the hot water suddenly stopped flowing, burr! refreshing!..
So grateful for the gift of hot and cold water.

Life is our gift.

Throughout the day, all kinds of thoughts, images, sounds, sensations and feelings arise and dissolve in the wide open space that you are.
The vastness of all human experience anything that anyone has ever thought, heard, felt, imagined is available to what you call 'you', regardless of so-called 'separation' in time and space.
No human experience is alien here. No thought, sensation or feeling is 'other' to you.
This is the origin of heartbreaking compassion and understanding for those reflections of ourselves we call 'others'.

Yes, 'the world' is not ‘out there’, nor is it 'in here'.

It is not 'outside', nor is it 'inside' something else.
It is here, present, as the unbounded and unlimited intimacy that we are.

Whatever you can feel, I can feel. Whatever you can think, I can think.

As awareness, I know you intimately. We have sometimes called this recognition 'love'.
But no words are really necessary here.

Yes, in the most intimate recesses of our experience, we are each other. In 2014, how about let's come out of denial.

One more thing I should add about the Enlightenment Club: The moment 'you' join, 'you' are automatically kicked out.
Still want to join?

Temporary setbacks and failures only mean you need to refine your approach.

( •_•)
\) (>
/ \  Temporary setbacks are just that - temporary. They do not turn into permanent failures unless you give up and allow them to become your destiny.

Setbacks and failures simply mean that you have been trying to do something. When you don't get the outcome that you want, refine your approach and try something different.

You are never defeated until you quit.
You are never defeated until you decide to be.

You may have made some mistakes, and you may not be where you want to be, but that's got nothing to do with your future.

Your mistakes are little more than a part of your education. Yes, you have to deal with the consequences of your mistakes.
And yes, they can set you back and be a pain to deal with sometimes. But they do not define you, and they certainly do not have to direct your future.

Learn from your mistakes and deal with the consequences of your mistakes, then move on knowing you have gained wisdom.

Don't let your mistakes hold you back or affect your future. You start with a clean slate each and every morning. You, and only you, get to decide which path you will take from this point on.

Maybe it is time to get past those mistakes and make a firm decision about the direction of your future.

Fill your mind with compassion.....

Some people say love hurts, but that is not true.
Loneliness hurts.
Rejection hurts.
Losing someone hurts.
Envy hurts.
People get those things confused with love, but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all pain and makes someone feel wonderful again.

Have a mind of compassion for others. Don't be hard towards to the suffering of others; you really have no idea what they are having to deal with or why.
Too many of us don't have compassion for others who is suffering because they are too busy with their own lives or because they think that they bring their suffering on themselves.

It is really none of your business why they are suffering, simply fill your mind with compassion for them. All being makes mistakes.

Some make worse mistakes than others, and have to deal with worse consequences for those mistakes. To not have compassion for them because of their mistakes is to judge them, judge not that you be not judged.

Having compassion doesn't mean that the others should be exempt from the consequences of their actions. It doesn't mean that you condone the other person's actions or that he didn't bring his situation on himself.

It merely means that you have a heart full of compassion for the suffering that this person is going through - that's all.
You can have compassion for everyone who is suffering, regardless of why.

Think about this.

Ordinary is simply not good enough. Be extraordinary!

You were not put on this earth to be ordinary. You are unique.
You think and act in ways which are unique to you, and only you.
If the Universe wanted everyone to think and act the same, we would be programmed clones instead of free-thinking individuals with free will.

And, because we are free-thinking individuals with free will, we have the power to decide how we will spend our time on this earth and how we will live.

The Universe is designed to work by certain laws and through those laws, we have been given the power to design the life that we want to live.
You get to decide!
The decision is totally yours.
You create your own life.

You can live like a bum or you can live a life of excellence and be extraordinary.

The true being chooses to live a life of excellence. We mindfully controls our thoughts, our words and our actions in order to live the kind of life that we wants to live.

For me, ordinary is not good enough; I shoots for excellence.

Never trust your tongue when your heart is bitter....

When you are angry, and especially when you are very angry, it is best to remain silent.

You will almost certainly end up saying things that you will later regret, if you indulge yourself and allow yourself to rant and rave when you are in the grasp of an angry or hurt heart.

When someone is in the grasp of anger, she speaks from her emotions rather than from rational thought. Therefore she allows her emotions to temporarily take over, until the anger has subsided.

Letting your emotions take charge of your decisions, whether it is your actions or your speech, is always a dangerous proposition.
At such times, you are not fully rational.
You lash out and say things which you don’t mean.

Oh maybe you mean them at that point in time, but your feelings quickly change when you have calmed down and are back to thinking rationally.
But then it is too late.
The cat has already been let out of the bag, and now you have the monumental task of trying to control that wild cat that you let loose.

It is better by far, to recognize when anger has flared up inside you, and make a conscious decision to remain silent, at least until a later time.
This is not easy to do, but it can be done, and it will save you a lot of stress and hassles if you will simply make firm decision to control your tongue.

Look at anger as a trap, set to trip you up and knock you down.
Be smart enough to recognize the traps which are set by your enemies and avoid them. Learn to control your tongue, especially when you are angry.
