Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.

It's not "just" your story.
It's your life.

While I appreciate the value of being a great story teller when our perspective on our experiences is repetitive and self-destructive, we must never lose sight of the fact that our story is also the karmic field for our soul's expansion.

At the heart of our story- when healthily honoured and worked through is the grist for our own unique soul mill.

Without a story to sink into and learn from, our expansion is stalled.

Repressed and side-stepped emotions are spiritual lessons. Let's not throw out the whole story with the bath water.

Let's turn it around in a way that invites us to face its teachings heart on.

Happiness walks on busy feet....

Slainte!

If there is anything to get used to on the path, it is repetition of pattern. Like turtles, we stick our head out until it becomes too uncomfortable, and then retreat to the safety of our shells.
The time we spend inside can be just what we need to assimilate new ways of being. So long as we stick our head back out a little further each time, we continue to grow.
Three steps forward, two steps back, is still progress.

We have to try to close the gap between the worlds as it is and the world as it ought to be. This is the work of all spiritual warriors- to clear the path of debris, to infuse the path with so much light that others can find their way home.

Our inner world is soul art, our lives its canvas. Like true artists, we have to find that delicate balance between wilfulness and surrender when to act, when to still.
We have to allow our form to change as intuition demands.
Home is where the art is.
Chaotic Magnificence!

Today I honour "the little voice that knows" in this little woman I am, the voice inside that carries a karmic blueprint for our destiny, whispering sweet something’s in our inner ear when we walk a false path.
Although it may come through in hints and whispers, it has an odd sense of authority to it, like a distant flute with the energy of a symphony, a truth ache calling you home.
Praises to the little voice that knows...

Quietly listening, becoming familiar to the sounds of my inner voice, finding it is strengthen and filling me up, giving me a sense of "being" in the world and not of it.
Grounded.
It’s a moment by moment thing.

When we stop trying to do the ground's job of holding us up and fall into it, we're free to look up and see the sky...

It's time to relax.

The worst has passed, and the things you feared the most are gone.

The other shoe has dropped and you're still standing.

It's obvious that living out of alignment with your most authentic Higher Self doesn't work, and that your soul won't allow you to ignore your true spirit.

Your soul's purpose right now is to enter a period of personal reflection and do some deep soul-searching. Your spirit is asking you to proclaim what you stand for, so don't waffle and dance around your truth.

What do you believe in and serve on a daily basis?
What dominates your thoughts, emotions, and imagination?
What's your mission and why?

Your soul's lesson:

You're being asked to stop promoting illusions and begin serving the principles of truth, integrity, courage, and above all, love.

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity that flow from letting your Higher Self inspire you to move into more meaningful and selfless endeavours.

When you search your soul, you find your light.

I love myself; therefore,
I behave and think in a loving way to all people for I know that which I give out returns to me multiplied.
I only attract loving people in my world, and they are a true reflection of what I am.

Inside and out you are amazing.
Shine bright to yourself and spread it to all you meet.
Stop and be thankful for you, your all and every second of your shining light.

One thing you will find with all areas of self reflection is that everything interlinks.

Find ourselves, analysis and change ourselves.

Personal growth tends always to be a positive thing even if brought about from a negative.

Ironic as it is, we must be fake happy to force ourselves to improve and find better within us.

Personal growth is about change.

Opening your mind, views, and situations to change or acceptance.

There is a good reason you are taught to know your enemy.

You can learn something from everyone you meet and every circumstance you go through.

How much, and what, you learn is totally up to you.

You decide if you will increase your wisdom or if you will be satisfied with the status quo.

One thing is for sure, if you think that you already know everything there is to know, you will learn nothing from anyone or anything.

The full tea cup has room for no more tea.

You must be willing to learn, from both the sages and those who seemingly have nothing to offer.

Gain wisdom from whatever source has wisdom to offer.

It is foolish to refuse to gain wisdom because you do not like the person who can teach you something. That is like refusing a cup of the finest tea because you do not like the design of the teapot.

It is the tea itself that is important, not where the tea came from. Likewise, it is the wisdom that you can gain that is important in your life, not the origination of that wisdom.

Be eager to learn and increase your wisdom, no matter what the source of that wisdom may be.

You can learn many things from those people who have maliciously hurt you and those who unsuccessfully tried to hurt you.

The wise learn many things from their foes - Aristophanes

All you have to do is be open to the lessons and learn.

Think like your enemy. Understand fully how their mindset works to avoid making the wrong preparation.
Also remember that your enemies are learning from you too.

Always be alert because anyone including your close friends can be your enemy in a split second if they know how to practice infiltration.

Only share your insights with those who are worthy.

Growing up as a misfit, I find it best to be enigmatic.
I stop lamenting about not being understood by anyone because it is actually a good thing if no one understands you, otherwise you will be very predictable to them.

If they misunderstood you, that is even better.

Make yourself a sheep, and the wolf is ready....

There are a lot of bad guys out there and they, as I have said before, are predators.

They look for the easy target.

Wolves like to attack sheep, not grizzly bears. There is a reason for this; sheep are weak and can’t defend themselves, grizzly bears are strong and not only can, but will defend themselves.

Sheep are also not the smartest animals on the planet; they tend to wander around aimlessly, making themselves an easy target.

People who have sheep-like characteristics are exactly what the human wolves are looking for in their prey.
They wander around aimlessly, oblivious of their surroundings.
They tend to not use their brains when they are out and about, either because they are distracted or just too busy.
They appear weak and unable or unwilling to defend themselves from any possible attack.

When these people leave home, the wolves smell dinner.

I think that it is our duty to protect the sheep and confront the wolves.

In general, the sheep do not like the sheepdog, because they looks much like the wolf in that they have “fangs and the capacity for violence.”

The difference is that the sheepdog would never harm the sheep, but is there for the sheep’s protection.

I was amazed at how many people were oblivious to their surroundings.

Prepared mind...

If you really believe that it is important to be prepared to handle whatever challenges may come your way, then you should believe that you must train to be prepared.

There is no way that you will be prepared if you don’t take action to make yourself prepared.

The state of full readiness does not just automatically happen.

You have to train to develop this attitude of mind and spirit, and the preparation of physical skills. Just like all of the other traits of the warrior lifestyle, you have to work to attain the state of preparedness.

The truth is, attaining the state of total preparedness takes more work than most of the other traits of the true warrior.

In fact, it would be impossible to be prepared for every single thing that could ever happen, unless maybe your name is MacGyver.
What preparedness means is being as prepared as possible to successfully encounter whatever difficulties may come our way.

It does not mean he is totally prepared for every single possible problem. It would be impractical to walk around daily with a backpack full of supplies ranging from a snakebite kit to climbing gear.

Although it is impractical to think that anyone can be completely prepared for anything at any time, and will always have all the tools he needs at his disposal, you can be mentally and physically prepared for a multitude of problems.

You may not walk around daily carrying a snakebite kit, but you can walk around with the knowledge of how to treat a snake bite, should this unfortunate incident take place.

Part of being prepared is obtaining knowledge about many different things, and being able to recall and use that knowledge when needed.

And fortune favours the prepared....WHO DARES WINS!

Don't put the cart before the horse
Prepare yourself before you jump into the bullring.
Preparation is the key to victory, no matter what the arena may be.

Many times, when you neglected to prepare yourself in the basics, it comes back to haunt you down the road.

A mystic through and through.....

There is one God, known by many names.

God speaks personally and directly to all human beings via their conscience.

Those who live with integrity, following their conscience with mindfulness and meditation/prayer are in a relationship with God.

Humanity is neither good nor bad, rather both, and God has given us a choice in life, to choose goodness which leads to progression, or to choose wrong-doing.

The most fundamental guidelines in life, should we chose the path of goodness are ‘Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds.’

We have the community of those who chose the good path, and our own conscience (the voice of God) for interpretation of Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds.

Scripture is that which leads us into goodness and away from evil and which guides us into a prayerful or meditative state.

God leads all into truth and goodness, teaching us how to progress and saving us from our wrong-doings.

God is the light which illuminates all darkness,
God is all clarity,
God is all progressivity.
God is the source of all which progresses life and dispels darkness and evil.

Humanity is in charge of creation, we are the workers of God, and as such we have all the necessary tools to progress the Earth and to make life a paradise.
We can destroy it or transform it.

Rituals perform a socially cohesive function, they are for humanity not for God, and God does not need worship, sacrifice or praise.

We glorify God through the quality of our actions towards each other, through our ability to think rightfully and through our speech.
We invoke and beseech God to aid us in those things.
Meditating on God’s qualities vivifies them in our lives.

God rewards us in this life for our goodness, attracting goodness toward us. God does not draw evil toward us nor does God punish us.

God is infinitely merciful and infinitely compassionate and has given us our conscience as a vehicle for progression.
We learn from our mistakes with given conscience in us.

We should seek the beautiful, recognising it as being. This means never picking on other's faults and looking for the ugly or wrong in life.
Rectifying wrong when need be but not looking for it.

We should trust in the path of Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds, and have faith in its efficacy, listening to the voice of God as we go along.

We should seek the company of those who have faith, not judging people by the label of their chosen or inherited response to God's voice.

We should remember God throughout the day and begin and end each day with meditation and or prayer, being grateful for the day's goodness and thankful for the lessons of the day.

We should be ever mindful of our thoughts, words and deeds, always examining ourselves not others and rectifying our wrong doings without dwelling on them and creating false idols out of them.
