Friends to me..

We are social beings and friendship is an incredibly important part of our lives.

"Give me friends or give me death".

A life without friendship is terrible and lonely.

Appreciating friends is something we must always make time for.

In today's competitive world it is easy to get caught up in our careers or our latest project. It is important to keep a sense of perspective.

You may meet a person and instantly know that you will be best friends forever. Other friendships develop over an extended period of time.

In some friendships you may feel a sense of equality, while in others there may be a clear sense that one is giving more to the friendship then the other.

There are no rules about how a friendship has to be. If you are able to share your life with another human being, by all means go right ahead.

All friendships are unique and special in their own way.

Each one is valuable.

Some friends are so perfect for us that they are put into the category of angels. We know that they could only have been seen by God.

I have the greatest friend on earth, we have certain jokes that no one would understand but he and I together we share our life story.

Sometimes we forget to tell the people that we love most how precious they are, but it's never too late.

One plus one equals two you see but somehow it's different with me and him.

You know my dreams and my every thought No stronger bond could ever be sought.

Today, say "yes" to all your heart asks for, "yes" to all your inner yearnings, and "yes" to releasing attachments that keep you from living in the full integrity of your authentic Spirit today. Yes. Yes. Yes!!!

Our actions of today shall be the path of our tomorrows.

Sooner or later you are going to realize, just as I did, that there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.

It is very easy to know the path, especially in today's society.

We have access to an abundance of information from books to the internet.

KNOWING the path only takes a small amount of effort, but WALKING the path takes much more; it takes focus, determination, and self-discipline.

It takes ACTION!

Our mind can set a deceptive trap for us where we actually KNOW the path to such a point, that we THINK we are walking path, when in fact we are spinning our wheels and going nowhere.

Once you know the path, then the work starts.

You have to actually put in the mental and physical effort to WALK the path. You can KNOW the path sitting on you couch researching and reading, but you can't WALK the path with the same amount of effort; you must move forward.

You must discipline yourself to take action.

Walking always entails taking action, where knowing only entails thought. You have to have BOTH.

Don't just know the path, walk it every day until you ARE the path.

Distrust all whom the impulse to punish is powerful

I smile.
It's not because I have received your love but because I have given love.

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something I can do.
Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.

On the road of experience, trying to find my own way sometimes I wish that I could fly away.
I am not her, I have never been she, never called the it-girl!
I am not the Grandaunty I resemble, nor the aunt that tries to improve me.

I have not been beaten so bad that I haven't gotten back up for seconds.
I have never been so self-absorbed to pass by someone in need.
I have never been rich nor have I been poor... for I always have my heart my soul and love.
I have never abandoned a friend or usurped an opportunity that was not mine by rights.
I don't let lies and deceit stand as fact or belief, I would rather trust and be a fool than become jaded and hurt a heart.
I don't allow others to be hurt in front of me and let my voice rust in my throat.
I will not jump with the crowd and be part of the flock.
I may not be the one, who shines the stars or Hung the Moon, but I am who I am and that is enough for me!

Yes I think highly of myself because the world takes me as my own estimation.  I am beautiful as I am in my own way...

God makes NO mistake!

Every moment matters...

Living as if your life really matters takes conscious thoughts, words and deeds.

From the moment your heart starts beating, just about twenty-one days after you were conceived, to the moment you take your last breath; your heart has given you the greatest gift imaginable – LIFE. It keeps you alive without you ever giving it a single command because it feeds itself first.

There is no such thing as chance; and what seem to us merest accident springs from the deepest source of destiny.

We are our own law....the power of the mind has no boundaries...

What it does mean living by your code?

Code of ethics is actually stricter than any law of the land.

Your standards require you to keep a closer watch on your actions than any law could.

We hold our self to a higher standard than anyone else expects of us, just as Henry Ward Beecher suggests that you should do.
He doesn’t bend his “rules” as one does with discretionary laws such as speed limits, etc. For this reason, he finds most laws useless.

The true being of character doesn’t need laws in order to do what they should. We simply do what’s right regardless of whether or not there is a law to guide us.

Moreover, even if there were no laws, we would still live the same lifestyle of honour and integrity.

The point here is that we set our own law.

That law is our code of honour or code of ethics. We decide what is right and what is just, and lives accordingly.

"You may be thinking if everyone did that we would have anarchy, and you would be exactly right. Everyone is not a being of honour.
That is why we have to have laws - for lesser being who will not discipline themselves." said Joan

Sometimes we falter slightly; but the main purpose is to respond quickly with a positive attitude.

We all have a set of rules we follow which serves as a guide to our lives. For the most part, these rules exist in the background. Although they are often concealed from conscious awareness, they shape our expectations and interactions. Uncovering and becoming aware of these rules or conditions is essential for us to move powerfully forward on purpose.  By exposing and clarifying what our expectations or life rules are, we become free to examine just how they support or hinder us in our relationships and in the achievement of our goals.

Always watch what people do, not merely what they say or the image they portray.

You have to learn to read people.

Don’t just listen to the words that they speak, but also pay attention to their mannerisms. Listen to the tone of their voice.

Are they being sarcastic or sincere?
Are they just blowing off steam?
Do they really mean what they are saying?

Pay attention to their facial expressions and their eyes.

Their overall manner of speaking can tell you a lot about the underlying meaning of their words.

Think about what is motivating them to say what they are saying.

The majority of people no longer live by the old adage that their word is their honour.

They don’t think twice about lying straight to your face and they can do it without even batting an eyelash. You have to learn to read between the lines.

Learn to distinguish between a person of honour, who means what he/she says and says what he/she means, and the dishonourable person who will say whatever is to their advantage, whether it is true or not.

Many people have perfected the art of deception.

Even the truth can have different meanings, depending on how it is spoken.

You have to become proficient at looking beyond the obvious, and evaluate not only what is being said, but how it is being said.

What is the person truly trying to express or hide with one's words?

Don’t just take someone’s words at face value.

Look for the “real” meaning behind the words. It is important to be more insightful than the average person who is deceived time and time again by what people say.

If you want to change the world—man—love a woman.

"If you want to change the world, love a woman—really love her.
Find the one who calls to your soul, who doesn’t make sense.
Throw away your check list and put your ear to her heart and listen.
Hear the names, the prayers, the songs of every living thing—every winged one, every furry and scaled one, every underground and underwater one, every green and flowering one, every not yet born and dying one…
Hear their melancholy praises back to the One who gave them life.
If you haven’t heard your own name yet, you haven’t listened long enough.
If your eyes aren’t filled with tears, if you aren’t bowing at her feet, you haven’t ever grieved having almost lost her.

If you want to change the world, love a woman
—one woman beyond yourself, beyond desire and reason,
beyond your male preferences for youth, beauty and variety
and all your superficial concepts of freedom.
We have given ourselves so many choices
we have forgotten that true liberation
comes from standing in the middle of the soul’s fire
and burning through our resistance to Love.
There is only one Goddess.
Look into Her eyes and see - really see
if she is the one to bring the axe to your head.
If not, walk away. Right now.
Don’t waste time 'trying.'
Know that your decision has nothing to do with her
because ultimately it’s not with who,
but when we choose to surrender.

If you want to change the world, love a woman.
Love her for life—beyond your fear of death,
beyond your fear of being manipulated
by the Mother inside your head.
Don’t tell her you’re willing to die for her.
Say you’re willing to LIVE with her,
plant trees with her and watch them grow.
Be her hero by telling her how beautiful she is in her vulnerable majesty,
by helping her to remember every day that she IS Goddess
through your adoration and devotion.

If you want to change the world, love a woman
in all her faces, through all her seasons
and she will heal you of your schizophrenia
your double-mindedness and half-heartedness
which keeps your Spirit and body separate
which keeps you alone and always looking outside your Self
for something to make your life worth living.
There will always be another woman.
Soon the new shiny one will become the old dull one
and you’ll grow restless again, trading in women like cars,
trading in the Goddess for the latest object of your desire.
Man doesn’t need any more choices.
What man needs is Woman, the Way of the Feminine,
of Patience and Compassion, non-seeking, non-doing,
of breathing in one place and sinking deep
intertwining roots strong enough to hold the Earth together
while she shakes off the cement and steel from her skin.

If you want to change the world, love a woman, just one woman.
Love and protect her as if she is the last holy vessel.
Love her through her fear of abandonment
which she has been holding for all of humanity.
No, the wound is not hers to heal alone.
No, she is not weak in her co-dependence.
If you want to change the world, love a woman
all the way through until she believes you,
until her instincts, her visions, her voice, her art, her passion,
her wildness have returned to her
until she is a force of love more powerful
than all the political media demons
who seek to devalue and destroy her.

If you want to change the world,
lay down your causes, your guns and protest signs.
Lay down your inner war, your righteous anger
and love a woman
beyond all of your striving for greatness,
beyond your tenacious quest for enlightenment.
The holy grail stands before you
if you would only take her in your arms
and let go of searching for something beyond this intimacy.

What if peace is a dream which can only be remembered
through the heart of Woman ?
What if a man’s love for Woman, the Way of the Feminine
is the key to opening Her heart ?

If you want to change the world, love a woman
to the depths of your shadow,
to the highest reaches of your Being,
back to the Garden where you first met her,
to the gateway of the rainbow realm
where you walk through together as Light as One,
to the point of no return,
to the ends and the beginning
of a new Earth."

A question for theists....

God commands nothing! Only started the ball rolling, never interfered since!!!!!

If God commanded a particular action because it was morally right then why would he not command all morally right decisions? And if we made morally right decisions because of God Commanding it.

Then what happens to free choice and common sense?

"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." The concept of the Supreme Being is balanced and indifferent.

“And the reason this is a problem for theists is because they believe in a perfect and good God. If the first case is true, morals and God are separate and morals would seem to dictate to God what should be done, which makes God not all powerful. In the second case, God must have reason for his commands or they are arbitrary and if they are arbitrary he could command anything he wants, such as rape pillage and steal. Thus 'good' would not be a part of God's being” – said Garrett

“What you don’t understand is that there is no answer for this question because it is not a question you ask. The Creator is the only reason why morals exist and why we exist. How can we place limits on the Creator and say that he is not "good" when he created good. We obey the Creator because he knows what’s best we here we obey” – Justin responded.

“God is unbiased in the creation. Do what is morally right because we CAN, because we MUST....through LOVE and Love alone” – said I

No ONE rules if no one obeys.

Good person do not need a ‘law’ to tell them to act responsibly...

If you really want to do something, you will find a way, but when you don’t you will find 1001 or more excuses.

"The minute you hear ‘freedom’ or ‘democracy’, watch out because in a truly free nation, NO ONE has to tell you that you are free" - Fresco
